PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

The Tax Enablement Specialist is responsible for the following:

  • Understanding of the isolved platform system configuration for Certified Network Partners (CNPs), both service bureaus and PEOs, to assist new partners through the isolved tax enablement process, which includes ensuring the partners' isolved security and tax configuration is set up accurately according to their business needs relative to their payroll tax processing.
  • Work within a designated project plan to ensure project deliverables and partner launch dates are met.
  • Once partner has completed instructor led isolved Tax training, launch the project by reaching out to the partner to schedule working sessions to assist with their initial enablement and provide security access to their production environment
  • Establish regular working sessions with CNPs to assist them in the transition of clients to isolved Tax to gain an expertise of the functionality and become self-sufficient in all aspects of set-up and processing payroll taxes on behalf of their clients
  • Monitor the tax enablement process for potential issues and escalate as needed to ensure the CNPs needs are met and the project plan schedule is maintained.
  • Troubleshoot technical or configuration issues for the CNPs related to their isolved Tax setup and processing of payment files, returns and paper coupons as needed
  • Establish sessions with the CNP during their first quarter-end using the isolved Tax platform to ensure CNP becomes self-sufficient in quarterly tax processing; assist partners with year-end processing as needed
  • Make recommendations, be consultative, guide the CNP on best practices that maximize value and their return on investment related to the isolved Tax platform
  • Simultaneously handle several CNP tax enablement project plans in various stages and ensure timelines are being met to provide the CNP with a positive tax enablement experience.
  • Contribute to the evolution and improvement of the CNP tax enablement process by providing feedback and sharing ideas that will increase partner satisfaction, drive efficiency and enhance the tax enablement process.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Associates degree or higher, or equivalent business experience
  • 2+ years payroll tax processing experience
  • Experience in the HCM industry/PEO industry is a plus
  • Experience with payroll software, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of working in a customer facing role

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Demonstrated payroll tax knowledge related to tax payments, filings and returns, both electronically and by paper
  • Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and capabilities
  • Demonstrated success in a role requiring strong attention to details, teamwork, and initiative
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience
  • Excellent presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required
  • Flexible approach, ability to adapt quickly and operate effectively within a dynamic, growth-oriented company
  • Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a "can do" and "go the extra mile" attitude
