BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

The Controller will be responsible for managing the financial integrity, internal controls and reporting for a dynamic, high growth technology organization. This is a "hands on" position with an opportunity to grow and develop the accounting department, implement changes to improve business processes and serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO to position the Company for sustainable growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION ARE:

• Manage all aspects of financial and managerial accounting, including cash management, payroll, accounts payable, account receivable, inventory, taxes, and performance analysis to budget.
• Lead the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organization structure adequate for achieving the Company's goals and objectives.
• Experience in process improvement initiatives and ability to improve efficiencies in operations and financial organization.
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Experience in financial consolidation with multiple subsidiaries including the development and maintenance of intercompany service agreement transactions.
• Develop the procedures for the maintenance of the company's fiscal records and preparation of its monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Must have ability to implement and monitor controls, including expense policy, within the organization.
• Assist in acquisition due diligence, closing and integration.
• Oversee annual audit and annual tax returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned

JOB PREREQUISITES & EDUCATION:

• College accounting degree; CPA preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Must have strong people management and leadership skills
• Strong computer skills
• Prior experience as a Controller is a plus.
• Prior experience in software industry or subscription revenue model is a plus.
• Ability to work in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, drive, fly and hear. The employee is required to use hands.
