Summary/objective
The VP, Product Marketing leads isolved's go-to-market strategy across our platform and services portfolio. This role owns the positioning, messaging, and enablement strategy that connects our technology to the business needs of our prospects, customers, partners, and influencers. As the senior-most product marketing leader, this role is responsible for ensuring isolved's value propositions are clearly articulated and differentiated in a competitive HCM landscape. The VP, Product Marketing partners closely with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Customer Experience, and Revenue Operations to drive market awareness, adoption, and growth. This is a high-impact leadership role that translates platform capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate across buyer journeys, influence integrated campaigns, and improve sales performance across all channels.
Core Job Duties
- Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for all major product and service initiatives, including launches, enhancements, and strategic messaging updates
- Define solution-level value propositions, messaging frameworks, and proof points that align to market needs, buyer personas, and competitive positioning
- Oversee product marketing alignment across new business, channel, and partner sales motions, ensuring all sales teams are fully enabled with content, tools, and training
- Own the development of strategic assets such as solution collateral, competitive battlecards, playbooks, customer stories, internal training, and pitch decks
- Drive strategic collaboration with product management to align roadmap priorities with market demands and messaging
- Guide customer research and competitive intelligence initiatives to inform messaging, segmentation, and opportunity sizing
- Partner with Brand, Content, and Demand Marketing to ensure product positioning is reflected across campaigns, digital assets, field events, and thought leadership
- Serve as an executive sponsor and internal champion for how product marketing integrates across the entire marketing and sales ecosystem
- Lead and grow a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration
- Act as a visible voice in the market through analyst briefings, customer presentations, sales events, and marketing activations
Job Complexity
Guides and inspires others to work with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business. Sets strategy and guides senior leaders in identifying and evaluating fundamental issues and direction for business unit(s). Requires in-depth knowledge of the business unit, business strategies, and the company's goals.
Interaction
Interacts internally and externally with executive and C-Level level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.
Supervision
Directs and controls the activities of one or more business unit, division, product groups or service areas through senior leaders who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas. Clear expertise as a leader and operator.
Experience
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of direct experience, with 10+ years of leadership experience. May require advanced degree.
Scope
Sets direction, strategy, and vision for business unit(s). Holds senior leaders accountable for results. Helps shape, exemplify, and hold senior leaders accountable to the management standards of the company. Approves corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation. Inspires senior leaders to develop innovative concepts and promote new ideas. Drives meaningful impact and improvements across multiple functions or business units; strategically plans for how people and processes scale.

Erroneous decisions will have a significant long-term effect on the company's success.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years in product marketing or related strategic marketing leadership roles within B2B SaaS environments
- 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity with direct ownership of go-to-market and messaging strategy
- Deep understanding of customer, competitive, and product marketing best practices in subscription-based business models
- Strong executive presence with experience leading cross-functional initiatives that align Product, Sales, and Marketing
- Proven ability to develop differentiated messaging frameworks and translate complex offerings into compelling value propositions
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills
- Experience enabling sales teams across both direct and indirect go-to-market motions
- Familiarity with HCM, benefits administration, or payroll technology strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
