Vice President, People Services


The Vice President, People Services will manage overall client satisfaction, project delivery and resource planning for isolved People Services HR consulting clients. You will own the technical and strategic delivery of HR services and technology solutions for isolved People Services clients. You will ensure acceptable human resources management practices and effective client and project management. Successful candidates must be a human resources subject matter expert and able to understand the overall people services and technical solutions end to end (i.e., HR best practice, compliance, components, operation processes, etc.). You will motivate and develop team members and communicating expectations and working cross functionally across the business is crucial to success. You will work in collaboration with other operations and sales functions to ensure outstanding people service delivery KPI's are met.


Core Job Duties:

  • Directs and manages isolved's People Services function and team.
  • Responsible for managing, coaching and developing a team of highly effective and respected professionals.
  • Responsible for developing and strengthening the team to excel in facilitating solutions to complex problems, leveraging organizational resources and best practices
  • Understands, develops and implements strong human resources consulting, project and program management practices.
  • Implements people service delivery best practices, identify high risk areas and mitigate inefficiencies
  • Communicates status, issues and risks effectively to client team members
  • Accountable for meeting predetermined revenue objectives and margin targets while solidifying relationships with clients.
  • Ability to plan, manage and effectively staff department during expected high-volume periods.
  • Awareness of standard project cycle times and proven ability to effectively influence cycle time through improved efficiency and scalability.
  • Exceeds client expectations with respect to the quality and strategic thinking.
  • Be a key client advocate internally and externally, anticipating and resolving delivery issues with the client and managing the performance of internal delivery resources
  • Accountable for working with the sales, strategy, technology and other teams.
  • Responsible for exceeding business objectives, project profitability and customer service satisfaction objectives.
  • Responsible for developing and client relationships at all levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or related field required
  • 7+ years relevant human resources generalist experience including working knowledge of best practice in the following disciplines: benefits, payroll, HCM, talent acquisition, compliance, organizational development, DE&I and compensation.
  • 7+ years of experience with HCM administration and implementation
  • 5+ year of demonstrated experience leading large people services teams
  • Ability to communicate advanced technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • A passion for team building, mentoring, and empowering others
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate team members to deliver consistent results that frequently exceed expectations
  • Experience building and developing diverse, high functioning HR teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in an HR related field preferred
  • SPHR certification
  • Experience leading HCM implementation, technical project management, and customer-facing leadership roles focused on the implementation of software products
  • Experience managing functions through achievable scalable growth: individual contributors and leader/managers, remote and local, blended teams of employees, contractors, and outsourced development.
