Summary/objective

The Vice President of HR Services Sales provides strategic leadership and execution for isolved's HR Services sales organization. This executive-level role is responsible for building and scaling a high-performance sales team, driving new business growth, and deepening market penetration through targeted referral strategies. As a key member of the sales leadership team, the VP will own the revenue strategy, execution, and results for the HR Services vertical, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs. This leader will partner closely with Channel Sales to build, strengthen, and activate referral relationships that drive HR Services adoption and long-term value.


Core Job Duties

  • Lead, develop, and scale the HR Services Sales team to achieve aggressive growth and quota targets
  • Set the sales strategy, operational plans, and performance metrics to drive new business acquisition
  • Actively participate as a selling leader to model best practices and close high-impact opportunities
  • Align with Channel Sales leadership to build and execute a COI referral strategy that generates qualified leads and drives HR Services performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, and implementation teams to ensure go-to-market alignment and exceptional customer experience
  • Continuously analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and client feedback to adjust strategy and maintain a strong value proposition
  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert in HR outsourcing, SaaS, and technology-enabled services
  • Represent isolved at industry conferences, partner events, and executive briefings to promote brand visibility and business development
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture through coaching, accountability, and strategic hiring decisions

Job Complexity

Consistently works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business. Through assessment of intangible variables, identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas. Requires in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the company's goals.


Interaction

Interacts internally and externally with executive and C-level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.


Supervision

Directs and controls the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups or service areas through senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas. Clear expertise as a manager, leader, and operator.


Experience

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of direct experience, with 8+ years of leadership experience. May require advanced degree.


Scope

Develops corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation. Detailed knowledge of company allows for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas. Provides direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations. Recognized as an influential leader. Drives significant impact and improvements across their function; strategically plans for how people and processes scale.

Erroneous decisions will have a long-term effect on the company's success.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven success in a senior sales leadership role with responsibility for strategy, team development, and revenue generation
  • Experience in SaaS, HR outsourcing, HCM, or related B2B technology industries
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Understanding of referral ecosystems and experience aligning with Channel Sales on COI-driven strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change, scale teams, and deliver consistent performance results
  • Advanced strategic thinking, planning, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in sales technology platforms including CRM and sales enablement tools
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.


Travel Required

Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
