Job Description

The Vice President, Direct Account Management reports to the Chief Sales Officer and is responsible for managing the Direct Account sales department. The major responsibilities include providing direction to the sales department, managing the Directors of Account Management and monitoring and achieving sales goals set by the organization.

Core Job Duties

  • Build a solid direct account management team that exceeds the company's sales goals and helps drive the business.
  • Ensure that the sales pipeline remains full of qualified opportunities and leads.
  • Monitor the productivity of the Directors and their respective teams and motivate the department to reach its goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements in the sales administration processes as needed.
  • Supervise the Directors in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Act as the trusted advisor and partner to the business with credibility and influence, from strategy to execution
  • Lead, influence, and champion best processes and behaviors to reinforce accountability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or related degree
  • At least 5 years related experience within Sales Operations, or Sales Excellence
  • Industry experience in HCM an asset
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Proven understanding of sales process in an enterprise organization
  • Exceptional collaborator and influencer driving change through ideas, relationships and actions
  • Ability to translate business objectives to sales goals and measurement.
