Job Description

The Senior Director, Corporate Development will have a lead role in executing the company's acquisition strategy. The director will be involved in all aspects of the transaction, including origination, underwriting analysis and due diligence, valuation, synergy identification, and transaction closing. The candidate will also assist in the post-close integration plan in coordination with the company's Integration Management Office (IMO) including the preparation of financial reports.

Core Job Duties

  • Evaluate opportunities and risks of target acquisition through
    • detailed financial analysis
    • management of due diligence process
    • alignment with the company's strategic goals
  • Assist with negotiation of key transaction terms and legal documents in partnership with CFO and isolved legal team
  • Develop and present strategic acquisition thesis and rationale to leadership team and Board members
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers and third-party advisors
  • Coordinate the activities of corporate development staff and partner with cross-functional teams within the M&A process
  • Build relationships with multiple business partners and stakeholders
  • Develop financial models to support debt or equity financing for the transaction
  • Conduct review of overall deal processes for continual process improvement

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related discipline
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in a similar role
  • Highly skilled in building relationships with expert level experience related to fostering connections
  • Strong business acumen and strategic, forward thinking, with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities and risks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create and interpret financial models, data, and reports
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively
  • High-level negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team of professionals
  • Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting a rapidly growing organization with multiple lines of business and cope with ambiguity and change
  • HCM industry and enterprise software or enterprise SaaS industry experience a plus
