Vice President of Regional Sales


Summary/objective

The Vice President of Regional Sales is expected to plan and implement organizational strategies and manage a sales team to achieve the growth goals of isolved HCM. This position will be required to collaborate with other departments such as marketing and product to maximize sales results within and around the isolved Network of partners

The Vice President of Regional Sales will be expected to meet or exceed assigned sales goals, as well as lead new initiatives to drive future growth of the technology business.


Core Job Duties

  • Achieve assigned sales goals
  • Execute against assigned strategic plans
  • Recruit, hire and maintain a confident, motivated, goal achieving sales team
  • Maintain good working relationships with other departments
  • Work closely with team managers to achieve sales targets
  • Make decisions regarding staff
  • Make decisions regarding territories
  • Approve expense reports
  • Monitor travel and related sales production
  • Represent iSolved HCM by giving presentations, attending sales calls & trade shows
  • Lead by example

Job Complexity

  • Consistently works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business.
  • Develops a thorough assessment of intangible variables, identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the company's goals.

Interaction

Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.


Supervision

Directs and controls the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups or service areas through senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas. Clear expertise as a manager, leader, and operator.


Scope

Develops corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation. Detailed knowledge of company allows for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas. Provides direction to field sales representatives in various areas, groups, and/or operations. Recognized as an influential leader. Drives significant impact and improvements across their function; strategically plans for how people and processes scale.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Four year college degree
  • 10 years' experience, preferably in software sales
  • Documented and extensive management experience required
  • Payroll or Human Capital Management experience desired
  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, decision making, organizational and interpersonal skills required

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.


Travel Required

Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
