Vice President, Implementation

The Vice President, Service Delivery will manage overall client satisfaction, project delivery and resource planning for the implementation of isolved for HCM and benefit services clients. They will own the technical and strategic delivery of technology solutions for one or more specific business verticals. They will ensure acceptable project management practices and the proper change control of key project assets, i.e. requirements, product specifications, contracts, product code, documentation, etc. Successful candidates must be able to understand the overall solution (i.e., components, operation processes, etc.), its value to the client and be involved in the many details of the project. Motivating and developing team members and communicating expectations to project members is crucial to project success.

Core Job Duties:

  • Directs and manages the Implementation Operations team and function.
  • Responsible for managing, coaching and developing a team of highly effective and respected professionals.
  • Responsible for developing and strengthening the team to excel in facilitating solutions to complex problems, leveraging organizational resources and best practices
  • Understands, develops and implements strong program management practices (Change Requests, Issue Management, Risk Management, and Decision Tracking) and champions them within the organization
  • Implement delivery best practices, identify high risk areas and mitigate inefficiencies
  • Communicates status, issues and risks effectively to client team members
  • Accountable for meeting predetermined revenue objectives and margin targets while solidifying relationships with clients.
  • Ability to plan, manage and effectively staff department during expected high-volume periods.
  • Awareness of standard project cycle times and proven ability to effectively influence cycle time through improved efficiency and scalability.
  • Exceeds client expectations with respect to the quality and strategic thinking.
  • Be a key client advocate internally and externally, anticipating and resolving delivery issues with the client and managing the performance of internal delivery resources
  • Accountable for working with the sales, strategy, technology and other teams.
  • Responsible for exceeding business objectives, project profitability and customer service satisfaction objectives.
  • Responsible for developing and client relationships at senior levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years relevant experience including client facing duties 7+ years of experience with software implementations from requirements through design, development and client acceptance using Microsoft technologies
  • 7+ year of demonstrated experience leading large teams
  • Ability to communicate advanced technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • 10+ years experience in PaaS implementation, technical project management, and customer-facing leadership roles focused on the implementation of software products
  • Experience managing implementation departments that have achievable scalable growth: individual contributors and leader/managers, remote and local, blended teams of employees, contractors, and outsourced development. You must have experience managing multiple specialties: technical project management, solution engineering, and technical support teams
  • A passion for team building, mentoring, and empowering others
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate team members to deliver consistent results that frequently exceed expectations
  • Committed to building a diverse team with an emphasis on talent and skill development
