Summary/objective
The VP, Relationship Management is responsible for leading a high-performing team focused on client retention, revenue growth, and strategic engagement across isolved's customer base. This role plays a critical part in driving expansion opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies. The VP, Relationship Management will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize customer experience and maximize business impact.
Core Job Duties
- Drive sales growth and client retention by leading relationship management efforts across assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand isolved's footprint within existing accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to enhance client engagement and drive adoption of isolved solutions.
- Support the execution of high-impact initiatives that optimize sales performance, revenue expansion, and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and develop Relationship Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Leverage market insights and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and refine engagement strategies.
- Ensure a strong pipeline of expansion opportunities by proactively identifying client needs and positioning solutions effectively.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing leadership with actionable insights to drive business success.
- Represent isolved as a strategic partner to key accounts, delivering executive business reviews and advisory support.
Job Complexity

Sets strategy and guides senior leaders in identifying and evaluating fundamental issues and direction for business unit(s). Requires in-depth knowledge of the business unit, business strategies, and the company's goals.
Interaction
Interacts internally and externally with executive and C-Level level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.
Supervision
Directs and controls the activities of one or more business unit, division, product groups or service areas through senior leaders who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas. Clear expertise as a leader and operator.
Experience
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of direct experience, with 10+ years of leadership experience. May require advanced degree.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, account management, or relationship management, with a strong focus on HCM, SaaS, or PEO solutions.
- Proven success in leading sales teams and driving client expansion strategies.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence decision-makers and manage complex client relationships.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving revenue and retention goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing strategic vision with execution.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Travel Required
Yes, up to 10% domestic travel may be required.
