Summary/objective

The Vice President, Enterprise Sales is responsible for leading the strategy, performance, and development of the Enterprise Sales team at isolved. This role will drive national-level growth by overseeing all enterprise sales activities, managing a team of high-performing sales professionals, and executing strategic initiatives to expand isolved's footprint among large, high-value clients. Unlike other leadership roles, this position does not carry an individual sales quota but is fully accountable for the team's results. The VP will collaborate cross-functionally to align on go-to-market strategy, pipeline development, and customer engagement at the enterprise level.


Core Job Duties

  • Own and execute the national enterprise sales strategy in alignment with isolved's revenue goals
  • Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of Enterprise Sales Representatives focused on high-revenue opportunities
  • Establish clear team targets and performance metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement
  • Develop strategic plans and forecasts, partnering with marketing, product, and other sales leaders to align enterprise efforts with broader business goals
  • Coach team members on navigating complex sales cycles and building relationships with C-level stakeholders
  • Oversee team pipeline, territory alignment, and resource planning to ensure optimal coverage and performance
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; implement solutions to maximize results
  • Collaborate with the SVP, Enterprise Sales to refine positioning, messaging, and market segmentation strategies
  • Represent isolved at key industry events, client engagements, and executive-level presentations

Job Complexity

Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.


Interaction

Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.


Supervision

Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area, typically through several department managers within the company. Strong understanding of people management strategies and how to develop leaders in their function to be successful. Builds and supports high functioning, motivated teams. Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.


Experience

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of direct experience, with 8+ years of leadership experience. May require advanced degree.


Scope

Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives. Able to lead and support their function while continually achieving impact and improvements across all areas.


Discretion

Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, division, or company operations.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in HCM technology or SaaS sales, with extensive leadership experience in enterprise sales
  • Proven success managing national sales teams and driving results through others
  • Experience selling to large, complex organizations and navigating multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Payroll or Human Capital Management experience strongly preferred

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.


Travel Required

Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
