Job Description

As Vice President, Demand, you are responsible for designing and executing demand strategies for isolved. In this role you will plan, build and run inbound and outbound marketing programs to drive and accelerate pipeline and revenue growth. You will help to craft compelling marketing programs and tactics to drive new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion to achieve pipeline and bookings targets.

As a senior, strategic, hands-on leader, you'll partner with cross-functional leaders across isolved to build integrated, highly targeted campaigns and programs that drive customer acquisition and expansion. This role will report directly to the C-Suite, is highly visible within the organization and will have a significant impact on isolved's long-term growth.


Core Job Duties

  • Design, develop and execute multichannel demand generation strategies and programs that are aligned to our target audience and support pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Lead detailed quarterly demand gen planning to meet the business goals. Run quarterly demand gen retrospectives to determine effectiveness of various programs.
  • Scale our growth marketing efforts, define, and improve KPIs and processes, manage a significant (and growing) acquisition budget, and assume responsibility for exceeding pipeline contribution goals each quarter.
  • Closely align with the sales team and leadership to ensure marketing efforts convert into real opportunities and ultimately influence bookings.
  • Leverage key channels such as digital advertising, web marketing, paid search, email marketing, nurturing, webinars, direct mail, events, field activities, outbound calling and more.
  • Collaborate and communicate with a variety of stakeholders including sales, product management and the extended marketing team. Partner with sales team to communicate and assess marketing campaigns, programs and tactics.
  • Continuously enhance best practices while evaluating the latest B2B marketing strategies; ensure a test and learn approach to optimization.
  • Analyze marketing program outcomes in detail, drawing insights and informing decision making. Ensure team has an analytical mindset.
  • Build, manage, and coach a team of highly talented marketing professionals across demand generation.
  • Be part of the planning budget process and own and closely manage the budget.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the demand generation team, encouraging ongoing involvement, education and career progression for the team.
  • Regularly report to leadership on the demand generation strategy's performance, key learnings, and recommendations for future investment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in a B2B demand generation leadership role, preferably marketing to SMB organizations (HCM marketing experience a plus).
  • Demonstrated success delivering creative and effective earned (SEO/SEM, website, email), paid (PPC, event sponsorships, social), and owned channel (web, webinar) demand generation programs.
  • Excellent quantitative marketing skills with a successful track record of using data and analytics to improve conversion through the funnel by experimenting, then scaling.
  • A desire to work both at a strategic level and tactically on programs and campaigns.
  • Experience with leading and mentoring a geographically dispersed team, fostering a remote work culture that maintains high productivity and collaboration.
  • A strong track record in partnering with sales organizations to implement a cohesive lead scoring system, ensuring high-quality lead delivery and efficient lead management.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Ability to work well within and across teams.
  • Commitment to leading with humility, curiosity, and transparency, with a willingness to roll-up-your-sleeves and dig into the work.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
