Treasury Reconciliation Manager

BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

The Reconciliation Specialist supports the Finance Department in an effort to achieve organizational goals. This person works closely with the stakeholders to support the payroll service client base.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION ARE:

  1. Ensure all daily tasks are completed by Treasury II and Treasury III specialists

for Wire, Settlement, OBC, Tax and Sweep restricted accounts

    1. Ensure all GL files are imported to Treasury Software
    2. Ensure all Bank activity is imported into Treasury Software
    3. Ensure GL and Bank activity reconciles to bank account balance (daily)
    4. Reconcile transactions daily for all restricted accounts
  1. Ensure all weekly tasks are completed by Treasury II and Treasury specialists

for AP Benefits, Workers Comp and 401k restricted accounts

    1. Ensure all GL files are imported to Treasury Software
    2. Ensure all Bank activity is imported into Treasury Software
    3. Ensure GL and Bank activity reconciles to bank account balance (weekly)
    4. Reconcile transactions daily for all restricted accounts
  1. Ensure all Restricted accounts are reconciled and balanced to the bank statements (monthly)
  2. Ensure all Tax impounds balance to tax payments by client (quarterly and annually)
  3. Ensure Stale dated checks are being reimbursed to clients (monthly)
  4. Ensure Treasury specialist are submitting adjusting transactions to ACH team as defined in SOP. Specifically ensure adjusting entries are processed by the end of the month
  5. Ensure accurate records/reconciliation logs for all accounts (including uploading files to Box)
  6. Perform performance reviews and goals for Treasury II and Treasury III specialists
  7. Promote teamwork within the team
  8. Lead by example
  9. Other projects as assigned by the Vice President Treasury Management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • At least 5 years in finance role, preferably with online banking and/or reconciliation experience
  • The position requires a detail oriented, self-starter who has experience with online banking, is PC savvy and has good time management skills
  • The position also requires strong organizational and communication skills. A strong product, service and technical background is preferred. Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • High level of skill with Excel
  • Proficient with a 10 key
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Able to handle a busy working environment with multiple deadlines
