BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
The Reconciliation Specialist supports the Finance Department in an effort to achieve organizational goals. This person works closely with the stakeholders to support the payroll service client base.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION ARE:
- Import multiple files to Treasury Software (checks issued, impound, bank activity files, etc.)
- Reconcile transactions daily for all client funded accounts
- Reconcile client funded accounts to bank statements (monthly)
- Reconcile tax impounds to tax payments (quarterly and annually)
- Monitor and reimburse clients for stale dated checks
- Submit adjusting transactions to ACH team as defined in SOP
- Enforce and collect for NSF's as defined in NSF procedure
- Answer all client questions in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records/processing logs for all tasks
- Other projects as assigned by the Director, Treasury Management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 5 years in finance role, preferably with online banking and/or reconciliation experience
- The position requires a detail oriented, self-starter who has experience with online banking, is PC savvy and has good time management skills
- The position also requires strong organizational and communication skills. A strong product, service and technical background is preferred. Strong customer service skills are essential.
- High level of skill with Excel
- Proficient with a 10 key
- Ability to Multitask
- Able to handle a busy working environment with multiple deadlines
