BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: 

 

The Treasury III Specialist supports the Finance Department in an effort to achieve organizational goals.  This person works closely with the stakeholders to support the payroll service client base.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION ARE:

 

  1. Audit all Tax payment files (multiple payroll and bank platforms, confirm acknowledgments)
  2. Research and resolve un-cleared tax payments
  3. Research and resolve transactions clearing our account that have no pending GL entries
  4. Execute daily extracts on payroll and bank platforms, edit files as needed
  5. Import multiple files to Treasury software for tax account reconciliation (daily)
  6. Import multiple files to ACCESS database and balance to daily bank activity
  7. Reconcile tax impounds to tax payments (quarterly and annually)
  8. Submit discrepancies to Treasury team as defined in SOP for processing adjusting transactions
  9. Pull monthly bank statements on multiple bank platforms
  10. Reconcile Tax account to pending liability and bank statements (monthly)
  11. Resolve cases in our CRM system (Netsuite) (specifically Tax reconciliation and Term clients)
  12. Ability to perform all tasks on the Treasury II job description
  13. Maintain accurate records/processing logs for all tasks
  14. Maintain accurate files and folders in BOX (reconciliations, statements and data extracts)
  15. Other projects as assigned by the Director, Treasury Management

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 5 years in finance role, preferably with online banking and/or reconciliation experience
  • The position requires a detail oriented, self-starter who has experience with online banking, is PC savvy and has good time management skills
  • The position also requires strong organizational and communication skills. A strong product, service and technical background is preferred. Strong customer service skills are essential.
