Job Description
The Team Lead, Insurance Relationship Managers will play a vital role in leading the growth of insurance related programs at isolved, requiring licensed professionals to service clients and partners. The Team Lead, Insurance Relationship Managers will be responsible for being the subject matter expert for teammates, internal resources, and external partners.
Core Job Duties
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of licensed insurance professionals to meet and exceed goals and quality standards, driving insurance revenue for the company.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular 1:1s, deliver ongoing coaching, and complete formal performance reviews.
- Recruit, onboard, and ramp new producers; design and run training programs for product knowledge, skills, and assist with identifying training gaps for compliance.
- Drive support and growth of agency implementation, including go-to-market plans, and retention/persistency programs.
- In conjunction with operations team, ensure strict adherence to state insurance regulations and internal compliance policies; coordinate licensing maintenance and audits.
- Use CRM and other sales tools to track activity, forecast revenue, and manage customer/partner relationships. Enforce accurate record keeping.
- Handle escalated partner or broker issues to resolution while maintaining service and compliance standards.
- Promote a positive, accountable team culture focused on continuous improvement and
professional development.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the insurance / benefits industry
- Have the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Must be flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues.
- Experience with multi-state insurance operations and remote/distributed teams
- Self-directed, self-motivated, and creative individual with an inquisitive and persistent nature
- Excels in a high performing and professional team in a remote work environment
- Current active insurance license(s) as required by the state(s) and product lines needed, and ability to obtain additional licenses if required.
