Payroll Tax Operations Specialist
Location: Charlotte
Job Summary:
The Payroll Tax Operations Specialist is responsible for the completion of various aspects of payroll tax functions. isolved is adding more Payroll Tax Specialists to our team due to our phenomenal growth!
Core Job Duties:
- File and pay client payroll taxes timely and accurately
- Prepare and file quarter and annual tax returns
- Update and Maintain Client Data
- Prepare and file amended tax returns
- Validate Client information reported to various state and federal agencies
- Perform independent research on tax related issues.
- Coordinate printing/electronic filing of returns on behalf of clients
- Participate in the department's team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree (business, finance, tax, accounting preferred)
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Multi-tasking and strong customer service skills
- Highly collaborative approach to work
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in researching tax credit/overpayment notices
Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree (Preferred)
