Summary/objective
The Tax Operations Administrator supports the Tax Department to achieve organizational
goals. This person works closely with the stakeholders to support the payroll service client
base.
Essential Job Functions
• Sort and manage daily mail
• Operate in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare and process power of attorney forms
• Maintain office supplies for tax team
• Correspond with clients and tax agencies when needed
• Manage client records and create cases
• Run payroll tax reports and verify information reported is accurate for governmental
agencies including all levels of Federal, state & local taxing jurisdictions
• Assist with QE/YE printing and filing of returns on behalf of clients
• Process timely paper tax returns and checks
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Make regular trips to the post office
• Other projects as assigned by the VP of Payroll Tax.

Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Interaction
Works on assignments that are semi- routine in nature but recognizes the need for
occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Supervision
Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new
assignments. Work may be spot- checked in progress and upon completion.
Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 1-3 years of related experience.

Minimum Qualifications
• Must be extremely organized, have attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines
• Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal) to interface
effectively with individuals at various levels
• Ability to work well under pressure while consistently meeting time sensitive
deadlines
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced
environment
• Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel and Word
