Strategic Project Manager

Project Managers oversee the functional and technical application design, construction, validation and implementation for assigned accounts and projects, with the end goal of successful implementation of client's chosen, customizable iSolved software solution.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION


  1. Responsible for leading an implementation team of subject matter experts
  2. Overseeing the implementation of new strategic HCM clients
  3. Develop and maintain implementation project plans and ensure projects are delivered on time
  4. Conduct internal project meetings
  5. Organize and lead weekly meetings with client to review and update project plan, review action items, driving project to meet target milestone dates
  6. Make recommendations, be consultative and lead the design of the solution, guide the client on best practices that maximize value and their return on investment
  7. Anticipate clients current and future needs
  8. Problem solve issues by researching alternative solutions as necessary
  9. Coordinate with SMEs to successfully integrate all functionality of the software including Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Payroll, Benefits, General Ledger, Legal, Learn, Performance Management, COBRA, FSA and Time and Attendance at the appropriate time
  10. Ultimately responsible for client satisfaction and a smooth transition to Customer Service
  11. Manage team members with respect to growth and development; serve as a mentor and leader
  12. Participate in other projects as assigned by the VP, HCM Implementation

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Strong product, service and technical background
    • Proven customer service skills
    • Highly organized, able to multi-task and collaborate with others
    • Minimum 5 year experience leading projects to successful completion
    • Experience in the HCM industry required

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

    • Ability to present project solutions to clients, manage client expectations, and implement and deliver solutions
    • Ability to manage and ensure deliverables are within timeline and scope
    • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects at the same time, and manage competing priorities for self and team
    • Ability to clearly and easily communicate complex ideas
    • Ability to identify, assign, track, escalate and resolve issues
    • Ability to hold resources accountable for timely deliverables
    • World class, interpersonal verbal & written communication skills
    • Strong organization skills
