Job Description

The HCM Tax Compliance Analyst provides support to the Director of HCM Tax Compliance. The objective of this role is to remain current with tax rules and regulations while ensuring tax related compliance to our HCM direct client base. Initiatives include driving readiness with cross-functional tax teams, our customers, and the isolved HCM platform. Cultivating internal business relationships, as well as agency relationships is key to this role. Use of technical savvy skillset is imperative to system testing and user acceptance analyses.

Core Job Duties

• Keep current with and communicate legislative changes that impact payroll related tax
• Keep current with and communicate agency filing and payment regulations
• Assist with agency registrations for tax teams and clients
• Evaluate and mitigate risk with processes and agency changes, while assessing system impact
• Assist with software testing efforts and user acceptance
• Constantly identify and promote efficiencies from a process and system standpoint
• Gather and author information, instruction, and resources for customer communications and newsletter
• Identify and communicate system modification needs and enhancements to internal Development team
• Collaborative work with cross-functional tax teams
• Use functional, technical, and project management skills to perform tasks
• Ensure timely execution of projects while preventing impairment or financial risk to isolved and our customers
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Director

Minimum Qualifications

• Solid understanding of tax compliance and agency regulations
• Technically savvy with electronic filing and transmissions
• Skilled wordsmith with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
