Summary/objective

The Solution Consultant Senior Manager is a strategic position leading a group of Solution Consultants in the day-to-day process providing coaching and mentoring while setting the team up for success strategically engaging with sales leaders and other peers to execute corporate inititives is a key to success.


Core Job Duties

  • Direct the day-to-day activities of a designated team of Solution Consultants supporting isolved People Cloud HCM solutions
  • Partner with sales teams and other internal departments to support revenue goals and drive market demand
  • Set individual performance objectives and periodically review the performance of Solution Consultants to ensure ongoing development and progression in the role.
  • Implement strategic inititives across all areas of support for the solutilon consulting team
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the Solution Consulting team in supporting specific sales opportunities
  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, motivating, skill development and alignment, and performance management for team and subordinate managers/team leads.

Job Complexity

Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules,

work plans, and performance requirements.


Interaction

Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive

situations, without damage to the relationship.




Supervision

Typically manages activities of two or more sections or departments. Develops proven structure and processes that helps their team achieve results. Exercises supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing. In some instances, this manager may have subordinate supervisors.


Experience

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of direct experience, with 5+ years of management experience.


Scope

Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation.

Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. Leads hiring efforts for their team and determines headcount.


Discretion

Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience successfully leading the demonstration of software solutions to prospective buyers.
  • Minimim of 3-5 years sucessfully leading a team of solution consultants
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels within an organization.
  • Creative and forward-thinking self-starter
  • Experience with managing teams in a collaborative, engaged, enthusiastic manner.
  • Analytical problem-solver, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to independantly identify process gaps and take corrective action
  • Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.


Travel Required

Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
