Summary/objective
The Senior Manager, Partner Marketing is responsible for driving scalable marketing programs that convert referral partners into a consistent and predictable source of pipeline and bookings. This role leads campaign planning, program design, and partner engagement strategy in close alignment with Channel Sales, Sales Enablement, Digital Marketing, and Product Marketing. The role also supports high-touch partner marketing execution while contributing to long-term program development that aligns with isolved's growth priorities.
Core Job Duties
- Lead referral partner marketing efforts across onboarding, education, engagement, acceleration, and recognition
- Develop and maintain the partner marketing calendar, aligned to quarterly and annual goals
- Serve as the primary marketing counterpart to Channel Sales Managers for strategic and high-touch referral partners
- Partner with Digital Marketing and the Partner Marketing Manager to build and execute scalable campaigns, including referral education, dormant reactivation, compliance, and ABM
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to equip teams with messaging, profiles, and playbooks that activate partners and convert referrals
- Coordinate with Channel Sales, Events, Product Marketing, and others to ensure a consistent partner-facing experience
- Own reporting for partner marketing campaigns, including dashboards, QBR inputs, and results tied to referrals, pipeline, and bookings
- Identify and scale opportunities through PRM tools, digital overlays, and regional activations
- Manage one Specialist who supports execution of partner marketing campaigns and requests
Job Complexity
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
Interaction
Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
Supervision
Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area, typically through several department managers within the company. Strong understanding of people management strategies and how to develop leaders in their function to be successful. Builds and supports high functioning, motivated teams. Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.
Experience
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of direct experience, with 8+ years of leadership experience. May require advanced degree.
Scope
Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives. Able to lead and support their function while continually achieving impact and improvements across all areas.
Discretion
Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, division, or company operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, demand generation, or referral program development
- Proven success in building and executing referral partner strategies that drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Strong experience managing cross-functional programs and collaborating across marketing, sales, and enablement teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-touch partner engagements while building scalable systems and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on campaign planning, content development, and performance reporting
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Travel Required
Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
