Summary/objective
The Senior Director of Implementation is responsible for leading our process to deliver a consistent and high-quality onboarding experience for our clients. You will deliver, optimize, and scale this experience as the Company grows.
Core Job Duties
- Develop project management processes for implementation, including project plans, milestones, deliverables, risks and communication standards.
- Serve as an executive sponsor externally, building client relationships, resolving issues and challenges that arise during the implementation process.
- Work in conjunction with leaders in sales, customer success, product, and other internal partners to execute company-wide goals.
- High responsiveness and resourcefulness-the ability to quickly develop and implement creative solutions.
- Work with senior leadership to give input, make recommendations, and monitor expenses for the department.
Job Complexity
- Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
Interaction
- Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
Supervision
- Typically manages activities of two or more sections or departments. Develops proven structure and processes that helps their team achieve results. Exercises supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing. In some instances, this manager may have subordinate supervisors.
Experience
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of direct experience, with 5+ years of management experience.
Scope
- Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation.
Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. Leads hiring efforts for their team and determines headcount.
Discretion
- Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- 12 years of industry experience
- 5 years functional implementation experience with customer-facing responsibilities
- 8 years of people leadership experience
- Strong client relationship building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success in a role requiring strong attention to detail, teamwork, and initiative
- Software experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Four-year degree or equivalent education and business experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- CPP, FPC, or CEBS Certification
- 5 years of isolved experience
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 7 pounds.
Travel Required
Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
Work Authorization
Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
