Job Description

The Senior Business System Analyst (SBSA) will specialize in analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing business processes using advanced technology solutions. The SBSA will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business units and IT, ensuring that the technological solutions align with and meet the evolving needs of the business. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise business systems, including ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and CRM systems. A key focus will be on leveraging Microsoft Power Automate to drive automation and efficiency within business processes.


Core Job Duties

  • Analyze current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions based on industry trends and professional expertise.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop business cases and technical justifications for new initiatives and process enhancements
  • Oversee the configuration, customization, and optimization of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, to enhance functionality and performance
  • Manage the integration and customization of CRM systems such as Sugar CRM, ensuring seamless data flow and integration between enterprise systems
  • Lead the implementation of security measures and data integration strategies to streamline reporting and enhance data security across all platforms
  • Utilize Microsoft Power Automate to design and implement automated workflows, enhancing business process efficiency and reducing manual efforts.
  • Build, test, and deploy automation solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring scalability and maintainability
  • Lead and participate in implementation projects from conception to completion, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications
  • Act as a key resource during system upgrades, maintenance, and production releases, overseeing change management processes and ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Document system procedures, workflows, and best practices, assisting in the creation of training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Lead and facilitate end-user training sessions to ensure proper adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Provide advanced support for enterprise systems, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring high levels of system availability and performance
  • Handle system administration tasks, including data imports, bulk updates, custom reporting, and dashboard creation, according to best practices
  • Collaborate with peers and leaders across the organization to gain a deep understanding of their business needs, ensuring that technological solutions are aligned with strategic goals
  • Communicate changes and updates to documents, processes, and systems effectively to all stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis, system implementation, and enterprise system management
  • Proficiency in ERP NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SugarCRM systems, with a strong understanding of system architecture and integration
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power Automate, with hands-on experience designing and implementing automated workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Project management experience, with a proven track record of leading successful system implementation projects
