Sales Excellence Consultant

 

The Sales Excellence Consultant will be an integral part the Sales Enablement & Operations team. This role is the lead for the standardization and continual improvement of sales methodology, process, policies, technology, and organizational readiness in support of achieving the financial targets for our business. The role is responsible for implementing business processes for efficient sales operations, directing sales force effectiveness, and management of functions essential to sales force productivity. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales Enablement & Operations, the successful individual will collaborate with the Sales team and stakeholders across Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product, and other teams to drive innovation, and actionable recommendations in all aspects of optimizing sales performance. The role will work with the Sales Enablement & Operations team to ensure sales organizational readiness and deliver improvements and tools that drive sales effectiveness and data integrity.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

The Sales Excellence Consultant is responsible for the following:

  • Act as the trusted advisor and partner to the business with credibility and influence, from strategy to execution.
  • Simplify and optimize sales processes and policies.
  • Identify areas of risk or opportunity by conducting detailed analysis of sales methodology, process, and enablers, with ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead, influence, and champion best processes and behaviors to reinforce accountability for smooth end-to-end sales process execution
  • Provide organizational readiness for products releases and updates, partnerships, acquisitions, sales technology, tools, and process.
  • Analyze existing processes, recommend improvements, and implement innovative improvements accelerate revenue growth.
  • Actively contribute to team success by showcasing successes, learnings, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to continuously drive greater sales alignment and efficiencies.
  • Identify, lead, and coordinate execution of advanced technical, adaptive, or strategic projects designed to address and improve business bottlenecks, gaps, or deficiencies.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related degree
  • At least 4 years related experience within Sales Operations, Sales Excellence and/or Finance

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

  • CRM administration and optimization experience preferred
  • Industry experience in B2B, HCM and/or SaaS technology preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Proven understanding of sales process in an enterprise organization
  • Exceptional collaborator and influencer driving change through ideas, relationships and actions
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint

 

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Normal working conditions require normal to close concentration, visual attention and manual dexterity. Lifting requirements less than 10 pounds.  Moderate noise.
