SEO Manager

Principal Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and roadmap on continuously growing organic site traffic via content, technical, and site analytics.
• Develop strategies in line with the business's overall goals and objectives in order to attract the anticipated business value.
• Manage and develop relationships with external third parties to license technology where it makes sense to buy rather than build, and stays on top of key trends and best practices in search engine algorithms, competitive landscape, and the industry to develop winning strategies.
• Collaborate with content marketing, from defining goals, site updates and working cross-functionally on design, content, and execution.
• Build and manage a rich content pipeline to grow leads traffic, foster existing customer traffic and expand overall reach by leveraging content resources.
• Gather, classify, organize, and manage keywords through various tools and techniques.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators such as indexing, rankings, backlinks, and serp clickthrough rates.
• Keep up to date with the newest SEO strategies, techniques, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Digital Marketing.
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing SEO strategy across business units.
• 2+ years of experience with SEO content development or content marketing.
• Search Engine Results Page (SERP) management experience.
• Experience with SEO tools including one or more of the following: Google Analytics, Google Keyword Tool, Webmaster Tools, Search Console, ranking tools, or crawlers.
• Immense attention to detail, organization, and extreme focus on quality of results.
• Must be self-motivated and independent, well organized, able to do hands-on work with minimum supervision, and work well with all staff levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A desire to work hard, make a difference, and have fun doing it.

Location: This position will be based in the USA (office or remote) and may require some travel.

Duration: This is a full-time, permanent position.
