Summary/objective
The Regional Channel Sales Manager is responsible for supporting sales leaders and sales teams within a specific region to help drive incremental revenue from partner-referred business. The Regional Channel Sales Manager will work within their assigned market to develop and manage partnerships at the regional level. Members of the Channel Sales team also play an integral role in helping create and mold current and future channel sales strategies.
Core Job Duties
- Develop and implement channel partner strategies to increase sales and revenue.
- Manage relationships with channel partners to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal sales teams.
- Deliver and help develop successful territory channel execution plans in collaboration with field sales leadership. Deliver channel sales training and enablement to internal sales teams.
- Provide training and support to channel partners to ensure successful product positioning and sales.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with channel partners to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Collect and analyze market and competitor data to make informed decisions regarding channel partner strategies.
- Negotiate and manage channel partner contracts and agreements.
- Identify and onboard new channel partners to expand market reach.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all channel partner activities.

Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Go-to expert in one specific area of their role. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept/peer review). Level at which career may plateau.
Interaction
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
Supervision
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in sales or account management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong business relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Travel Required
Yes, up to 25% domestic travel may be required.
