Responsibilities:

  • Building forecasting models, performing analysis and developing reports to provide descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive insights into internal Software Development operations (and/or consumer operations as required).
  • Identifying and bringing visibility to advanced statistical insights into internal Software Development operations (and/or consumer operations as required) to support informed executive decisions.
  • Analyzing, explaining, and predicting patterns of internal SDLC operations and external consumer reports as required.
  • Establishing clear Operational Definitions throughout Software Development to develop standardized metrics across the organization.
  • Establish data governance for internal reporting metrics (and/or consumer operations reporting metrics as required).
  • Building data/information management as a service capability, data modeling capabilities and technical development and analysis
  • Eliciting, analyzing and understanding business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions
  • Designing and implementing reporting platforms to deliver complete solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Working closely with various project teams to understand the business meaning of data and provide analysis and requirements to ensure the data design is fully understood and the development initiatives are in line with the intended design and standards.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience and knowledge of:
    • Conducting data analysis to answer business questions
    • Use of visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau
    • Data manipulation using SQL, ACCESS, Excel
    • Familiar with TFS Warehousing fundamentals, TFS Reporting, and report development for software development lifecycle insights.

 

 

 

Requirements:

  • R/RStudio
  • Python
  • SQL server tools: DBMS, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • ETL development with SSIS.
  • Comprehend principles and practices in data screening, cleaning and linking.
  • Describing and modeling data sets. Dimensional modeling and design.
