BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Processes claims and provides customer service via phone, fax, and e-mail. Enters data to fulfill the needs of clients and participants. Position requires access to electronic PHI.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

1. Prepare claims

2. Adjudicate claims

3. Administer claims

4. Prepare and file incoming faxes

5. Substantiate debit card claims

6. Create debit card communication

7. Create pend/denial communication

8. Document customer inquiries and follow-up as needed

9. Create and update client specific notes

10. Provide client reporting as needed

11. Scanning/Indexing

12. Process any change requests regarding company and/or employee contact information (name, addresses, phone, fax, e-mail, etc.)

13. Maintain records of work completed

14. Other duties as directed by Fringe Benefits Management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Three to six months related experience and/or training and 2 years customer service experience

Ability to read, and interpret business communications

Ability to write business correspondence

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee is required to use hands. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for written work and PC use. The noise level is usually fairly quiet.
