Summary/objective
The National Partner Acquisition Manager is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing strategic partnerships at a national level. This role focuses on business development, targeting high-value partnerships that drive revenue growth and expand market reach. Success in this position requires a strong background in sales and business development, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to create and execute strategies that align with company objectives.
Core Job Duties
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to acquire new national partners, expanding the company's market presence.
- Identify, research, and engage prospective partners across various industries, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead partnership negotiations, structuring agreements that maximize value for both parties.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition of new partnerships into ongoing relationship management.
- Track, analyze, and report on partnership acquisition performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth.

Supervision
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others.
Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the HCM, SaaS, or B2B industries.
- Proven success in identifying, securing, and managing high-value partnerships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Travel Required
Yes, up to 25% domestic travel may be required.
