Job Description

The isolved Marketing Event Coordinator, reporting to the Events & Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating and organizing a variety of events, meetings, tradeshows, and conferences throughout the year. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and strong, proven organizational skills who love to work in a fast-paced environment.


Core Job Duties

  • Understanding requirements for each event, planning with attention to budget and time constraints.
  • Coordinate and negotiate the booking of, and event details, with venues/vendors.
  • Manage all event operations – prepping venue, communications, promotion, etc.
  • Preparing regular event reports and budgets by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders to support and meet defined event goals.
  • Partner with appropriate team members and vendors to ensure the successful development and execution of events – internally and externally.
  • Support operational goals and logistics, including but not limited to, rooming blocks, shipments, layouts, event orders, onsite needs, app development, AV needs, etc.
  • Establish methods to track event success and gather feedback. Develop and maintain historical data and information for event analysis.
  • Oversee event details, and act quickly to escalate or resolve any issues.
  • Managing and drafting promotional event communications and social.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Marketing and/or Event Planning required.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field desired.
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to coordinate events of various sizes and see them through to completion.
  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Solid analytical and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent customer-service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Build and adhere to budgets.
  • Travel required 50-60% - willing to volunteer for last minute travel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
