Job Description

The isolved Manager, HR Services is responsible for coaching/leading HR Services team members and department operations to achieve success and meet company gross margin expectations. This position will assist with and continuously assess marketing and sales activity, crossdepartment operations and internal client servicing to further promote and enhance HR Services solutions. Additionally, this position will ensure effective processes, workflows, continuous improvements, administration, etc. This position is a member of the People Services leadership team. As such, this position contributes to the strategies, projects and business results of the overall team.


Core Job Duties

  • Functions as a key participant and contributor to the strategies, projects and business results of the People Services team.
  • Builds, leads, and guides an effective and cohesive Custom Consulting team. Interviews, hires, trains and develops employees.
  • Empowers, plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and recognizes; coaches and disciplines; addresses issues and complaints and assists in providing appropriate resolutions.
  • Assures appropriate bandwidth for Custom Consulting.
  • Functions as a role model of service excellence – caring, supporting and serving employees and clients.
  • Upholds the standards of operational excellence – accuracy, timeliness, responsiveness, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Troubleshoots/resolves escalated issues and advises appropriate staff regarding client concerns.
  • Fosters strong, collaborative relationships within and outside of the Custom Consulting team.
  • Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with company expectations, policies, practices and applicable laws.
  • Ensures daily operational functions of the Custom Consulting team are run effectively and efficiently. Resolves, with urgency, daily operational issues that arise.
  • Assures standardization in work practices. Leverages technology to improve work performance.
  • Identifies, reviews, plans, presents, implements and manages improvements.
  • Ensures conformance with laws and regulations.
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of Human Resources information.
  • Provides HR consulting to clients/client employees.
  • Provides management advice; Handles employee relations issues, performance management and other HRrelated issues;
  • Develops and completes handbooks and policy and procedures; manages LOAs, generates ad hoc and periodic reports for internal staff and for client;
  • Completes required reporting such as Affordable Care Act, OSHA, EEO1, VETS, Medicare reports, etc.
  • Completes project requests.
  • Oversee and develop department operations to ensure overall efficiency and consistency; utilize firm software tools and train team on same.
  • Aid in department recruitment as needed
  • Facilitate HR Service queues (phone and email) and monitor KPI goals; ensure proper coverage and team knowledge to meet customer needs and timelines.
  • Plan, develop, and mentor department personnel and ensure regular cadence with team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A demonstrated track record of excellent leadership and strong HR competencies.
  • High integrity professional who is passionate about management and HR.
  • Excellent computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel). Prefer some expertise in using a CRM, particularly, Salesforce.
  • A passion for customers with a commitment to quick turnaround on employee requests and the ability to champion high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Excellent time management skills and proven organization and project management skills. Must be able to handle disruptions without allowing them to affect delivery of quality and timely services.
  • Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to problemsolve in a fastpaced environment working independently, demonstrating resourcefulness, functioning as a selfstarter, asking "unasked questions," collecting and analyzing applicable information, determining a course of action, executing plans to completion and continuously improving quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Successful track record of establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with clients, vendors, agencies and coworkers to promote a quality service image.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting or Business Administration or similar field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years related experience
