Job Description

The isolved Manager, 401(k) Compliance leads and oversees a team of 401(k) compliance support employees. This includes handling day-to-day work of the team. The manager will also peform annual nondiscrimination testing, calculate benefits, and prepare the Form 5500 reporting for our client's defined contribution plan during peak season.


Core Job Duties

  • Manage team of 401(k) compliance support employees, including assigning work, leading, coaching and monitoring performance.
  • Coordinate training for all new hires and additional training for current employees.
  • Manage the team's daily workflow.
  • Responsible for quality assurance.
  • Research corrective action when errors occur and follow up with appropriate individuals and actions.
  • Perform ADP/ACP Test, top-heavy, 410(b) Coverage, and 404(a) testing.
  • Quality check or prepare Form 5500SF & 8955SSA.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years' experience in a retirement industry role
  • 2+ years experience leading a team of professionals
  • Experience with Excel, MS Office, internet navigation and database management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational, planning and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated success in a role requiring strong attention to details, teamwork, and initiative
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of direct experience, with 3+ years of management experience.
