Legal Intern

Salary: $18/hr (Hourly, Non-Exempt, Temporary Internship - 3 month)


As a Legal Intern you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in isolved's culture as well as the products and solutions. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team that expands across multiple sites domestically as well as develop an understanding of what it takes to be a part of a legal organization from inside a corporation and how in-house legal counsel operates on a daily basis.


This position reports to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer in the isolved Legal department and covers all of the following 5 practice areas: Contract Negotiations, Drafting and Management; Litigation Support; Legal Operations; Intellectual Property; and Regulatory Compliance.

Core Job Duties:

  • Shadowing in-house counsel and gaining exposure to corporate transactions in a high throughput environment, including, but not limited to technology contracts, M&A, IP and compliance
  • Test and implement new legal tools within the department
  • Review compliance initiatives
  • Draft and managing contracts and templates,
  • Update company policies
  • Legal research and writing
  • and more!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in accredited law school.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suit, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Westlaw a plus

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Eager to learn and a strong desire to grow and expand knowledge in the corporate and in-house legal world
  • Ability to use the skills that are currently being gained in law school to build a strong foundation for a legal career
  • A passion for evangelizing integrity, ethics, and compliance
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and intellect
  • Solid negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal constituents Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail
