Summary /objective

The Lead, Solutions Strategy plays a critical role within the Solution Consulting team by acting as a strategic advisor, technical resource, and internal liaison across isolved's pre-sales ecosystem. This role is responsible for enhancing the quality and depth of isolved solution demonstrations, with a particular focus on high-value opportunities and integration-heavy deals. The Lead supports the development of the Solution Consultant team, drives alignment across product, sales, and enablement, and ensures demo environments are optimized and up-to-date. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends technical acumen with strategic storytelling to position isolved as a differentiated leader in HCM.


Core Job Duties

  • Lead and support advanced, technically complex demonstrations of the isolved People Cloud platform for high-revenue sales opportunities
  • Act as a go-to advisor to Solution Consultants for integration-related positioning, field questions, and proof-of-concept support during active sales cycles
  • Own the health, configuration, and rollout of isolved demo environments, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment to current release functionality
  • Collaborate with Product, Integration, and Enablement teams to maintain deep knowledge of product roadmap, integration capabilities, and messaging strategies
  • Facilitate internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions for Solution Consultants and Sales team members related to integrations, technical positioning, and new releases
  • Support Sales Enablement with onboarding, product certification, and development of solution-oriented training content for the pre-sales team
  • Participate in release readiness and "Train the Trainer" meetings; translate updates into actionable materials and strategies for the field
  • Attend and support live demos alongside Solution Consultants for strategic deals where added technical or narrative depth is required
  • Drive adoption of demo best practices and support consistency across teams through coaching, documentation, and team enablement

Job Complexity  

As an expert in the field, uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters. Anticipates broad changes pertaining to their area of expertise and ensure isolved is always ahead of the curve. 

Significant barriers to entry (e.g., top management review, approval) exist at this 

level. 

Interaction  

Works on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products, or technologies. Creates formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the organization. 

Supervision  

Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. 


Minimum Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a Solution Consultant or Pre-Sales role in the HCM, SaaS, or enterprise software space
  • Deep understanding of Human Capital Management solutions and business use cases across payroll, HR, talent, and workforce management
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with integrations, APIs, and cross-platform workflows
  • Experience leading or contributing to high-stakes sales presentations or demonstrations
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Enablement teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex topics into client-friendly narratives
  • Self-motivated with strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Experience working in CRM and demo environments; familiarity with sandbox configuration and release processes preferred

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds. 


Travel Required

Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
