Summary/objective
The HR Operations Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining and improving HR operations with a focus on HCM systems, data integrity, and employee experience. This position supports a wide range of HR processes, systems, and analytics while partnering across the HR team to ensure efficient workflows, compliance, and a seamless employee lifecycle. With a strong emphasis on HR technology, data accuracy, and service excellence, this role acts as a key connector between process execution and system optimization.
Core Job Duties
- Support daily operations and data integrity of isolved People Cloud and associated systems, including access management, system audits, maintenance, and user support
- Create and maintain ad hoc and recurring HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to support compliance, business insights, and decision-making
- Coordinate and execute onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, orientation, IT coordination, and system updates
- Maintain and audit employee records to ensure regulatory and policy compliance, including file management and document retention
- Manage transactions and workflows for hires, terminations, compensation changes, promotions, and other job data changes
- Partner with internal HR team members to support processes such as benefits enrollment, performance reviews, and merit cycles
- Assist with configuration changes, testing, and system updates in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate process or system updates to impacted stakeholders and assist in preparing job aids or training documentation
- Respond to internal inquiries related to HR systems, processes, or policy navigation, escalating to the HRBP as appropriate
- Contribute to process improvements and cross-functional HR initiatives to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency

Interaction
Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Supervision
Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments. Routine assignments are performed independently unless problems occur.
Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR operations, HRIS, or generalist role with a strong emphasis on HCM systems
- Proficiency in using HR technology platforms, with preference for experience in isolved People Cloud or similar SaaS-based HCM systems
- Demonstrated experience managing sensitive data, maintaining accuracy, and producing reports and dashboards
- Strong organizational and communication skills with an ability to handle multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
