Summary/objective

An HCM Manager oversees human capital management systems, processes, and strategies to align with business goals. Key responsibilities include system administration, system strategic planning, M&A HR support and compensation modeling initiatives. The role also involves ensuring HCM system and policy compliance, including, but not limited to, SOC HR audit oversite and providing data-driven insights to senior leadership including optimization of Predictive People Analytics and other reporting tools associated with isolved People Cloud.


Core Job Duties

  • System management: Administer, maintain, and implement Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, including configuration, data integrity, and integrations with other applications.
  • Strategic planning: Develop and execute HR and HCM strategies aligned with company objectives, which may include workforce planning and budgeting.
  • Compensation modeling: Develop and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs including modeling and reporting merit and bonus programs. 
  • M&A HR support: Supports the human resources aspects of mergers and acquisitions by managing employee data, assisting with due diligence, and helping with integration planning. Key responsibilities include analyzing workforce data, ensuring data integrity, tracking metrics like headcount and costs, and helping to align HR policies, benefits, and compensation to ensure a smooth transition for employees.
  • Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all employment laws and regulations and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Reporting: Analyze HR metrics and provide reports to management to support decision-making.

Supervision

Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead)


Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR or HCM Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases, often including specific platforms like Workday or Oracle.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and data analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds. 


Travel Required

Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
