BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
The HCM Benefit Operations team is responsible for the successful execution of client benefit renewals and open enrollment. This individual will be tasked with partnering with our customers. This includes maintaining ongoing projects to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction, as well as ensuring the plans are updated accurately.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
Responsible for monthly renewal and OE for assigned customer projects
Contact customers directly to partner during the renewal and OE process
Build strong customer relationships
Update a variety of benefit plan information (retirement, FSA, medical, dental, vision) for the purpose of ensuring plans are established according to client summary plan descriptions , eligibility and termination rules
Assist in researching discrepancies and reporting between systems and resolves inaccuracies
Assist the team in identifying issues that need resolution for Customer ACA filing completion
Assist in the ACA process for annual filings to the IRS
Manage customer escalated issues and drive resolution
Collaborate with peers to establish best practices
Attends and participates in all relevant meetings
Completes special projects as needed
Adhere to company and departmental policies
Other projects as assigned but not yet defined by Benefits Operation Manager
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION
1-2 years of experience in payroll industry and benefits role
Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English
Demonstrated success in a role requiring strong attention to details, teamwork, and initiative
Demonstrated passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Knowledge of Benefits, Human Resources, and Health Insurance
Software experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
Four-year degree or equivalent education and business experience
The selected candidate will be subject to a background and credit check and drug screen upon offer of employment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Normal working conditions require normal to close concentration, visual attention and manual dexterity. Lifting requirements less than 10 pounds. Moderate noise.
