Job Overview: The Benefits Analyst is an integral member of the team that will play a role in leading and partnering with our customers.  This includes maintaining ongoing plan operations to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction, as well as ensuring the plans are updated accurately and integrations are working efficiently.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monthly renewal and OE for assigned customer projects
  • Contact customers directly to partner during the renewal and OE process
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Manage a variety of benefit plan information (retirement, FSA, medical, dental, vision) for the purpose of ensuring plans are established according to client summary plan descriptions , eligibility and termination rules
  • Coordinates with COBRA, FSA and integration teams to ensure system requirements are met and integration of all system feeds are working efficiently
  • Partner with external service providers to offer guidance to ensure the customer has a positive experience
  • Assist in researching discrepancies and reporting between systems and resolves inaccuracies
  • Assist the team in identifying issues that need resolution for Customer ACA filing completion
  • Assist in the ACA process for annual filings to the IRS
  • Manage customer escalated issues and drive resolution
  • Collaborate with peers to establish best practices
  • Attends and participates in all relevant meetings
  • Completes special projects as needed
  • Adheres to company and departmental policies

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in payroll industry and benefits role
  • Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English
  • Demonstrated success in a role requiring strong attention to details, teamwork, and initiative
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Benefits, Human Resources, and Health Insurance
  • Software experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Four-year degree or equivalent education and business experience
