FBA Trainer

Brief statement of the purpose of this position:

The Fringe Benefits Administration (FBA) Trainer will report directly to the Executive Vice President and will coordinate on a routine basis with the Managers in COBRA, FSA, Operations and HCM, as well as with the Corporate Trainer. The ideal candidate will be a confident presenter that is capable of establishing a presence and credibility within all levels of the organization, who can present standardized training materials in a consistent fashion to new hires and to current employees as needed.

Primary responsibilities of this position are:

1. Develop and maintain the technical knowledge base required to support the FBA team.
2. Assist with the initial development of the training materials to meet the cross-functional needs within COBRA, Operations, FBA and HCM.
3. Collaborate with the COBRA, FBA and Operations Managers and attend departmental meetings as the Training Liaison.
4. Develop a solid background in the principles of adult education, course development, needs analysis and training effectiveness.
5. Facilitate the curriculum and conduct routine on-the-job-training for the FBA team.
6. Provide clarity to managers and employees so that all parties understand what is going to happen, why, and how the training process works.

Job prerequisites and education preferred:

1. Bachelors Degree in a related field
2. Good leadership skills with a high energy level and a strong presence
3. Excellent written verbal communication skills
4. Results oriented with a high degree of accountability
5. True team player with the ability to facilitate change

Physical demands and work environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee is required to use hands. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for written work and PC use. The noise level is usually fairly quiet.
