Job Description

The isolved Employee Development Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining employee development programs and strategies. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates with a training and development background with an emphasis on employee engagement and employee development. We are seeking an enthusiastic, service-oriented, problem-solver with an outstanding an eye for detail, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our Trainer will enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employee's workplace performance in alliance with company core values. You will be responsible for performing training assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials, and for managing all phases of training interventions.


Core Job Duties

  • Develops and delivers programs meant to improve performance, productivity, and engagement of the organization's employees.
  • Designs and implements programs focused on long-term growth and career development of employees.
  • Enhances the employee experience through onboarding, training, education, mentoring, career pathing, or similar programs, ensuring that programs align with organizational needs.
  • Creates or sources content for development programs, and integrates content into LMS or other systems as appropriate.
  • May participate in management development programs, succession planning meetings, or performance evaluation cycles.
  • Performs work under general supervision.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
  • May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of applicable experience.
  • 3+ years of experience designing training events in a corporate setting
  • Knowledge of design theory and learning principles
  • Adequate knowledge of traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
  • Understanding of adult learning theory and techniques
  • Familiarity with talent management and succession planning
  • Knowledge in project management
  • Sound decision and organizational skills
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technically savvy, expert level Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, social media etc.
  • Delivers results - high service delivery expectation
  • Positive, can-do, will-do attitude
