Director of Facilities Operations
The Director of Facilities Operations is responsible for the overall maintenance and management of corporate leased building sites nationwide including buildings, grounds, fixtures, and equipment of multiple corporate facilities including production and Includes the management of leases and on site management of new office set up or office turndown projects.
Core Job Duties:
- Oversee general building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, minor repairs and electrical work
- Ensure preventative maintenance is completed on all equipment
- Ensure the facility is in a sanitary, attractive, safe, orderly condition and in compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Accountability for facilities project budgets
- Develop facility maintenance plans, timetables for completion and recommendations for maintenance projects
- Manage office and production facility turndown or spin up projects
- Coordinate outside service vendors/contractors and maintenance staff to complete projects as assigned/necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of corporate building management
- Prior experience managing facilities for corporate and production office sites
- Prior lease negotiation experience
- Prior vendor management experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years college level construction trade education or experience
- Construction/maintenance supervisory experience
- Project management certification
- Technical (IT operations) experience
- Commercial real estate experience
