Job Description

The isolved Director of Communications will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our communication strategies, with a focus on managing customer and partner communications, a community-first approach to customer and partner updates, social media, M&A communications and public relations initiatives. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can work with myriad stakeholder groups both internal and external.


Core Job Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans for customer and partner audiences.
  • Ensure clear, consistent, and compelling messaging that aligns with the company's values and objectives.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to oversee communication for product launches, product updates and other company announcements.
  • Manage all business units' customer- and partner-facing newsletters for maximum engagement.
  • Support executive stakeholders with communications, PowerPoint presentations, event-speaking needs, talking points and executive-level correspondence.
  • Work cross-functionally to integrate community communications and engagement into overall business objectives.
  • Lead communications efforts related to regularly occurring partner mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ensure smooth communication transitions during customer integration periods.
  • Support the public relations strategy and agency relationship to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
  • Create, write, edit and produce press releases, collateral, newsletters, social media content, printed and digital event materials and other communication, company and cultural assets.
  • Project manage deliverables required for releasing analyst reports, products and more.
  • Respond effectively to media inquiries including drafting executive commentary.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Communications Manager to develop and implement a social media strategy for our next phase of growth.
  • Find and implement social media efficiencies to support all business units while maintaining a cohesive brand strategy and reducing repetitive work.
  • Manage and mentor the Brand Communications Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in B2B communications (HCM experience is a plus).
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot is preferred.
  • Presentation and PowerPoint-building experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful social media growth.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience working closely with the c-suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
