Job Description

The isolved Director, Program and Project Management will lead a strategic Agile PMO team. Focus on management excellence, ensuring the successful "end-to-end" delivery of Information Technology (IT)projects and programs for isolved on time and on budget. Using well defined Agile and SCRUM methodologies the director will be responsible for aligning people, processes, measurements, standards, and project efforts across the organization. The director is the primary and overarching interface between key stakeholders to ensure optimal alignment and coordination.


Core Job Duties

  • Provide direction, prioritization, and structure to multiple teams, enabling efficient implementation and execution of enterprise projects.
  • Manage PMO and Agile methodologies, processes, and tools to ensure they are guided by best practices.
  • Facilitate and coordinate regular program/project reviews with staff and leadership to ensure consistent reporting and visibility to progress and utilization of best practices. Includes but not limited to, risk issues and mitigations, opportunities management and progress reports.
  • Provide input on program and project goals, objectives, and related metrics to ensure alignment with company vision and strategy.
  • Support staff in resolving or removing roadblocks to programs and projects.
  • Build strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement by communicating and deploying enterprise best practices and team engagement to improve cost, quality, delivery, and satisfaction.
  • Establish and implement policies, procedures, and documents to ensure consistent execution of processes within the team and department.
  • Coordinate with program contacts to implement solutions, technical strategies, goals, and objectives.
  • Financial oversight and accountability within cost reduction or spend parameters.
  • Directly manage the intake process end to end and facilitate the coordination across multiple groups within the organization.
  • Determine the success criteria of PMO projects, including gathering information on feedback, project team feedback, and senior management direction.
  • Lead, manage, and publish a comprehensive overall strategy plan, including the development schedule and resource allocation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field
  • 8-10 years of related infrastructure project/program management experience
  • 10 years of experience managing enterprise information technology projects
  • PgMP or Agile Framework or equivalent certifications
  • Master's degree in an IT related field
  • Experience in customer-facing leadership roles focused on implementation of software products.
  • Experience managing functions through achievable scalable growth: individual contributors and leaders, remote and local, blended teams of employees, contractors, and outsourced development.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of direct experience, with 8+ years of leadership experience. May require advanced degree.
