Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer II you will place a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations within a software development project. You can expect to work in a dynamic environment completing tasks that may range from streamlining operations and integrating development to process automation and system improvement.

Core Job Duties

• Deploy product releases, updates, and enhancements
• Ensure new features and improvements are integrated efficiently into existing systems
• Identify and troubleshoot production errors and issues
• Work closely with developers to resolve issues promptly
• Create integrations to enhance users' experiences, connect services, automate processes, and improve overall system performance
• Actively seek ways to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and enhance collaboration between development and operations
• Design and implement IT infrastructure
• Establish best practices for infrastructure as code and cloud deployment strategies

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
• 3-5 years of previous experience in DevOps or a related role
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Github, CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of both development and operations processes
• Strong technical background with a passion for learning and adapting to new tools and practices
• Strong scripting skills for automation
• Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices
• Keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
