Data Integration Engineer

The Data Integration Engineer is responsible for helping implement processes required of a data processing pipeline in support of our products and services. The Data Integration Engineer's primary responsibilities include implementing ETL (extract, transform and load) pipelines, monitoring/maintaining data pipeline performance. The Data Integration Engineer is experienced in data extraction, data exploration, data manipulation, and reporting. The ideal candidate has three or more years' experience working on solutions that collect, process, store and analyze data.

Principal Responsibilities

• This position is based in the US and for someone who can provide design, development and operations of systems to systems interfaces between isolved and its ecosystem of ERP and CRM systems.
• As a Data Integration Engineer you will help to define and build out our data integrations our various software packages.
• We are looking for a hands-on developer with experience in working with APIs and customers throughout such a process.
• You will work closely with management in finding and implementing those solutions.
• Removing monotonous and error prone manual data entry with efficient and effective data exchange synchronization.

Essential Requirements

• Exposure to a variety of systems such as ERP, CRM and custom systems
• Experience designing solutions leveraging a diverse assortment of data sources.
• Experience with tools such as Celigo, Tray.io, Workato or Jitterbit
• 8+ years of experience at progressive roles working on middleware software layers.
• Solid Understanding of API and middleware based integrations.
• Ability to define and create data flows, and extensible APIs and data formats.
• Understanding of various architectures such as SOAP, REST, request reply
• Good communication skills for effectively communicating with external and internal clients of APIs
• Solid team player.
• Ability to create and document APIs.
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
