Job Description

The isolved Data Analyst is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and transforming data from multiple enterprise systems. This role will make recommendations for analyzing the quality of the extracted data and making recommendations for improvements. This role also will collaborate with business users and technical engineers, assist developers in restructuring data.

Core Job Duties

• Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
• Structure large data sets to find usable information
• Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
• Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
• Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
• Remove corrupted data and fix errors and related problems
• Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
• Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct problems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
• Work with programmers, engineers, and management to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field
• Strong skills in data manipulation tools
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining
• Technical writing skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
• Experience working with private and sensitive personal information
• Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices
• Outstanding problem solver
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies
• Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail
