Summary/objective

The Cybersecurity Intern will assist the Cybersecurity team with vulnerability management, security risk assessments and

remediation of findings. This individual will also complete vendor risk assessments and with security operations on security

events remediation.

Core Job Duties

• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across systems and networks.
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing potential threats using advanced security tools and techniques.
• Support the development and implementation of data protection and governance.
• Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity trends and present findings to enhance organizational security measures.
• Participate in incident response activities, including root cause analysis and documentation of solutions.

Works on problems of moderate scope. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

Supervision

Normally follows established procedures on routine work, with detailed instructions on new assignments. Work will be spot-checked in progress and upon completion.

• Discretion when dealing with confidential information
• Initiative and the desire to own problems from start to finish

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
