Job Description

The Content Marketing Manager will work closely with the product marketing and demand-generation marketing teams on the direct side of our business to conceptualize and create high-conversion content and campaigns for the entire buyer journey to increase pipeline opportunities. You will develop product collateral, multi-media content, presenter content, campaign content, product blog content, product resources and more to support the direct new and direct customer teams. This may also include leveraging existing content to create optimized landing pages, ad copy, email copy, editorial materials, etc. to provide complete and proactive campaign support. Content should be educational, engaging, and fulfill buyer journey and customer lifecycle needs by promoting isolved's most appealing features and services for targeted audiences. The goal is to support demand gen with the assets they need and extend the reach of those assets through campaign writing to reach the right prospects, on the right channel and at the right time. This role considers the full-funnel, full-lifecycle content strategy.


Core Job Duties

  • Create product collateral, multi-media content, presenter content, product blog content, product resources and more for direct new and direct customer teams working closely with your fellow content marketing managers as well as product marketing and demand generation
  • Develop educational and engaging content including product collateral, multi-media content, presenter content, product videos, product blog content, product eBooks, ROI reports, group product demos, community content, event content, case studies, partner testimonials, infographics, brochures, bylines, webinar content, mascot content and more
  • Fulfill direct demand-gen requests with an eye toward proactive content but reactive to campaign copywriting needs
  • Determine the most appealing features of products and promote them via various content types for direct
  • Market and inform customers of software and service values
  • Develop engaging and educational product marketing campaigns and content that reach a wide target audience
  • Align with demand generation teams on a regular cadence to decipher assets and targets for campaigns
  • Measure the reach of content and campaign support to show the true impact for demand generation
  • Assist in maintaining the companywide content marketing calendar
  • Produce assets for every stage of the customer lifecycle, based on demand-generation needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Can-do, positive attitude is an absolute must
  • At least 3-5 years proven experience in copywriting or editorial roles
  • Understanding of the B2B SaaS space (but experience in B2B is highly preferred)
  • Management experience
  • Well-versed in AP style writing guidelines
  • Love of language and storytelling
  • Strong writing, spelling and grammar skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knack for collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Willing to accept and adapt to feedback yet a steward of brand consistency, voice and goals
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Creativity and passion for finding new ways to engage audiences through copywriting
  • Experience writing for target audiences throughout every stage of the customer journey
  • Apt at writing a variety of formats, including headlines, emails, blogs, bylines, PowerPoints, video scripts, infographics, eBooks, etc.
  • Capable of writing in a conversational tone, with attention-grabbing elements to engage audiences
  • Skilled at extending the life of content by finding new ways to upcycle and repurpose assets
  • Editorial experience will be strongly considered
