Job Description

The Commission Analyst is responsible for ensuring the precise calculation, thorough analysis, and timely submission of commission payments. This role is unique in its support of both direct sales commissions and third-party/partner sales commissions. Success in this position requires a keen analytical mindset, strong intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and a committed work ethic. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a fast-growing, results-driven software company and possess expertise in aggregating reports from multiple data sources.

Core Job Duties

• Monitor direct sales representative and/or 3rd party/partner performance, sales data and other information as necessary to ensure accurate commission calculations.
• Calculate and process commission payments, ensuring timely and precise payouts to sales representatives/partners.
• Investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to commission calculation, eligibility or payment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance and other relevant teams to streamline direct and third-party commission processes.
• Create analytical insight reports – including KPIs, operating metrics, business metrics and queries – along with dashboards, and scorecards designed for rapid consumption by decision, helping to identify business growth opportunities.
• Maintain commission tracking systems and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Partner with appropriate leaders to assist with the administration of isolved's sales compensation plans and/or third-party/partnership agreements
• Administer effective controls and reporting to ensure integrity of sales/partner commissions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of commissions, sales operations, compensation and/or financial reporting/ analytics experience
• Detail oriented and results-driven with a strong focus on accuracy
• Intermediate MS Excel skills (sumif, xlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
• Driven by passion for achievement and inspired by ability to exceed goals
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
• Consistently seeking ways to create efficiency
• Results oriented, attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple objectives and project
